Mr Boogedy (1986) and Bride of Boogedy (1987)
In 1986, Disney developed a TV pilot that was eventually converted to a TV movie called Mr Boogedy. The story follows the Davis family as they move to Lucifer Falls and are haunted by Colonial period ghosts, namely Mr. Boogedy who sold his soul to the devil for a magic cloak.
In 1987, Disney released a sequel Bride of Boogedy, again as a TV movie, which continued the events of the first film. Notable actors in the films include John Astin, Kristy Swanosn, David Faustino, and Eugene Levy. Watch the TV Movie intro for the first film below for a mind jolt…
